Dutch Bros., a well known coffee chain in the Western United States, had a website design that was under-performing. They requested a revamp of the overall design to bring more visitors to the site. The solution was to use the more playful and lighthearted traits of the company to build a more engaging and more easily navigate platform. Each page was created with the illusion that it is sitting inside of a lava lamp, which was achieved by using vibrant colors organized in a gradient. In addition, the content of the website was designed to be more open and streamlined for less adept users.
